Starch production equipment ---Hydrocyclone
Our hydrocyclone mainly used for potatoes, cassava, sweet potato, wheat and other grain (rice) slurry-residue to continuously separation, concentration and washing .
The Hydrocyclone is a piece of equipment commonly used in starch processing production lines. Its main function is to clean and separate starch granules. The starch washing cyclone has a relatively simple structure and is mainly composed of a feed port, a guide tube, a cyclone chamber, a discharge port and a slag discharge port. The starch and water mixture enters the cyclone chamber through the guide tube. Under the action of the cyclone, the starch granules and water are separated. The water is discharged from the slag discharge port, while the starch granules are discharged from the discharge port.
According to the different densities of starch, protein and microfibers in the starch milk, under the action of pressure, the starch milk entering the cyclone in the tangential direction causes the starch and impurities to be continuously separated by centrifugation , and the starch concentration increases, while the washing water gradually flows in a counter-current manner. Impurities contained in the starch milk before grading, thereby removing the protein and microfibers contained in the starch milk.
As an important equipment in the starch processing production line, the hydrocyclone has good performance in cleaning starch granules. The hydrocyclone separates starch granules and water through centrifugal force. The special structure and working principle of the hydrocyclone can be used to efficiently clean starch granules and improve the quality and use efficiency of starch.
